Description

The central theme of this work is the Guinkans as they appear in the caves and on the rock overhangs at Laura in Central Cape York. Emus frequent this area and their tracks are shown to the side of the painting. The circular feature is a water hole and the serpent nearby is the Olive Python which central to the Black Mountain creation story.
