“We are not far from the rainforest near the billabong. This is where we go to hunt and fish. At the billabong we dive for water lily bulbs and the lily roots. These bulbs, roots and lily stalks are our healthy foods. Turtles, fish and fresh water mussels are there too.

We enjoy our hunting when we have our weekends. We even go hunting for wild honey.”

Betty is a sister of Gertie Huddlestone. They have three other sisters and all are artists.
