Description

George often depicts specific sacred sites in his ancestral country which are linked to the Tingari Cycle of Creation Dreaming Stories. In the earlier part of his career he adopted a joined dot style of painting and it was representational showing in this case the Giant Snake and the Tingari Ancestors and the joined circles denoting the travels of the ancestors. His later works are minimalist and linear and usually two colour with the background being one and the lines the other.
