Description
The flat form of the woomera and the incising place it in the Kimberleys area of Western Australia. The semi circular patterns have been incised using a possum tooth or a kangaroo tooth which would have been tied to the end of a stick with kangaroo sinew to give the user greater leverage. The shaping of the artefact has employed the use of a metal rasp which would have sped up its production but it retains its traditional form and decoration.
